      Greetings,

I have some domains registered through Google and have been using their DDNS as well. Google is selling their domain registration/hosting business to square space (which does not offer DDNS). So I'm investigating DDNS alternatives, and wondering what services any of you might be using to update DNS for top level domains. Do you also have your domains parked with the DDNS provider? How much are you paying?

      FYI - I'm running PFsense+ 23.09.1

      TIA,
      David

@david-marion said in DDNS service for TLD:

using to update DNS for top level domains.

A top level domain is .com or .net, etc.. You mean just domain, not top level domains..

There are plenty of options for ddns, both free and some paid.. I currently just use cloudflare (free).. Where you register your domain doesn't really matter, its who is doing the dns for that domain that matters.

@johnpoz You're correct - I mis-spoke. Just finished setting up cloudflare - pretty easy to do. I had overlooked that they had a free offering for just DNS.

          Thanks for the feedback.
