@Gblenn - Thank you for that response! I discovered that the problem returned after I had logged off and came back to test again later, so I was about to post yet another reply to myself. (I did a search on the topic, but didn't see the post you provided. Thanks for that.) Cheers!

Hmm, yup there have been several bugs in the past resulting in double or half the traffic shown. I thought they were fixed in 2.7.2 but apparently not.

Do you see that in the traffic graphs widget on the dashboard and in Status > Traffic Graphs?

Ah there is one still open: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/14933

There's a patch for it on there you can test.

@stephenw10 Never applied a patch like that, only the recommended system patches.

I pasted the link address and did "fetch", and it looks like this now :

After changing the path strip count to 1, I get the Apply button...

Am I safe to click Apply?? Or is there a way to a test run, without implementing?

There isn't but I tested it here just now and nothing blew up. 😉

@stephenw10 Ok, then I guess it should be safe to try.

I did just now notice the very latest comment from Danilo, that path strip = 0 should be set...

Hmm, with the wrong path strip set I wouldn't expect it to apply at all.

It does apply with either 1 or 0 set though. 0 is correct the patch does not have any leading path that needs to be stripped.

@stephenw10 I discovered that before clicking Apply, so I only tried with it set to 0.

But anyway, the patch seem to work and I'm now seeing a correct graph also when returning to the page...

@Gblenn The patch seems to be working here, as well. Thanks to you and @stephenw10 for your help. Much appreciated.
