      Hi guys!๐Ÿ˜Š
      I guess I should first begin by apologising for not doing something about my problem sooner....just find life and work gets in the way....- BUT I am here now and would like some guidance.
      I have the latest stable version of pfSense running 2.7.2
      I have noticed several services not started and have tried to start them - but nada.. have to confess.. not so update with problem solving on pfsense.
      I am attaching a pic and wonder is someone can give me the basics of what I need to do to get to the bottom of the issues....pic-1.PNG
      I will test everything you guys recommend!
      Thanks!

        ClamAV Service Not Starting -v2.5-dev (solved)

        I have made some changes and then looked at the log:

            @bookie56 I even ran:

            Shell Output - freshclam --verbose --show-progress

                @stephenw10 Hi....now that was a good question ๐Ÿ˜‹
                I don't even know why it got installed....
                Lost track of what I did when I built the router about four years ago...
                I removed it and all is well with the world again....

                  @bookie56

                  Enable squid first and then enable the clamav might be thew best option.

                      It should be looking like this. It is from my pfSense 2.7.2 version.

                        @Dobby_ Hi again๐Ÿ˜Š
                        Everything was like you show - but with the risk of sounding like a broken recored if squid is being fased out what is the point?
