Two sites WiFi link vs VPN

I have two sites that are connected via a UniFi WiFi link. Both sites run pfSense.

Main: 10.0.0.0/4
Remote: 10.0.1.0/24

The link is good however does drop from time to time and as both sites are internet connected I would like to setup a backup VPN connection.

At the remote site there currently exists a policy route to direct LAN traffic for the primary site over the WiFi link.

Would I simply replace this policy route with a GWGroup that includes both the WiFi link and the VPN link?
