I am having problems upgrading my 1100 to the latest release candidate. I've attached the log. It is failing on the Python upgrade each time.

      Can anyone assist?

I don't see an attachment. What are you trying to upgrade from? to?

@stephenw10 Sorry, for some reason the attachment did not attach. Here it is: 1100upgrade.txt

Hmm, you see any error logged from pkg or an alert after it fails?

The most common issue on the 1100 is exhausting the drive space. This doesn't look like that but it's worth checking.

@stephenw10 That's what I suspected, but not sure how to clear space safely. Or can I plug in an external drive?

@GeekyTim if it’s running ZFS, could be https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/filesystem-shrink.html

Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, and device or disk speed.
