Need help with purchasing decision

Currently, the internet comes in over cable and a simple device (I don’t remember what it’s called) converts to over to Ethernet. From there I connect to an OLD d-link router on its wan side. The lan side of the d-link is connected to 3 eero devices for 3 different networks (general use, IoT, and financial networks). I would like to get rid of the old d-link and either replace it with an 1100 with a switch on its lan side for the eeros, or a 2100 which I assume can feed 3 eeros.
Will the 1100 with a switch option work, or do I need save up more money?
Thanks,

What bandwidth do you have available on the WAN?
Do you plan to use VPNs? Packages?

250 Mbps down according to eero app. I typically only use a VPN when traveling. No packages.

Ok an 1100 will pass that. It's good to ~400-450Mbps. The 2100 to ~650Mbps. Less over a VPN and less of you want to run Snort for example. 250Mbps should fine though, assuming that isn't tested over WIFI whoich might limiting the result.

Thanks Stephen. The eeros are hard wired and so we should be ok.
