      Please see my thread under hardware entitled, CP210x USB-to-UART driver for Mac Sonoma? This thread revealed that chapter 7, connecting to the SG-2100 console is out-of-date and needs a revamp -- at least for us Mac users.

      Netgate 1100 and Netgate 2100, latest pfsense+ version
