I upgraded to pfSense Plus Home when that was a thing. I swapped out a bad NIC and seem to have lot the ability to register my device now. Is there a way to fix this, or are my only options to go back to CE or pay for a TAC Lite subscription?

the license is tied to the NDI which is based on MAC addresses. If you envision changing NICs often you could just revert to CE.

Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, and device or disk speed.

@SteveITS nope I don't plan to have any more hardware issues any time soon lol. Is there a way to be able to re-register my device? When I put my old key in it says "Thank you for choosing Netgate pfSense® Plus", but nothing actually happens.

Send me your NDI and/or Order number in chat and I'll check it.
