pfSense-repoc: failed to fetch the repo data

@stephenw10 thanks I assumed this based on the many different vendor routers and firewalls I have serviced over the years. Some we would have to take brand new equipment and downgrade them to specific versions because of vendor requirements. Some Cisco equipment ran for many years without iso changes. They had specific versions for software that they needed and required. They would want us to remove the Cisco iso and put on specific iso files that were vendor specific. I figured as much here that some clients only want the versions they like and use that version until they replace all of it at once. Like using the software that equipment it was best designed for. There was so many different kinds of equipment over the years. Thanks for letting me know. I feel safer knowing I can still use my hypothetical everything bagel version of software. I use to wonder why some equipment we were forced to have specific software for it and were never allowed to use the latest cutting edge version on, now I understand it, programming takes effort and they constantly have to make changes sometimes with equipment changes parts get broken on older models and require that custom components that it was designed for. It’s amazing and when a client finds something they like they stick to it and get grumpy when they have broken parts

Yup there was a backend issue. It's fixed now. pkgs should show for 23.05.1. And any other version.

Sweet, just looked my oldest copy of old image is 2.2.6 - best to have your firewall software as old as possible, so hackers will be confused when their new exploits don't work ;)

I should prob delete those old versions ;) Just taking up space - freaking hoarder when it comes to old installs.. Guess I could prob delete my XP-sp3 and Win7 isos while I am at - hehehe

@stephenw10 hahah - I did have at one time like the first release saved.. But then getting in a purge mode when I redoing my drives in nas.. Said WTF would I ever need this for and deleted a whole bunch of really old stuff..

That 2.2.6 is in pfsense-image folder that I must of missed, or said oh these are more current keep these..

I think I have a old windows 3.11 vm I could fire up.. But it prob got deleted in the purge as well.. I had like 16TB of stuff needed to move off old drives in NAS, so I could put in new 18TB drives.. I got it down to like 13TB.. But still took forever to move off and then back on to the new drives..
