@mrneutron Reinstalling from image on ARM devices erases and rewrites the disk.

Great!! Maybe it will fix what the OS screwed up!

Did you check your disk space per the above URLs?

Yes, I did. I have PLENTY of flash memory space.
The update process clearly has major problems with the SG-1100.

I just contacted Netgate support and they directed me to the Netgate store to "purchase" the update for $0.
I downloaded the SG-1100 version from the link provided.
After uncompressing, the image file is "pfSense-plus-installer-24.02-BETA2-aarch64-20240312-0600.img"
I'm confused why they aren't giving me 24.03???
I'm likely going to have to update with this.

@mrneutron Does it ask you about 03.24 during install. It did on mine I just said ok and it did it all. Mine is fully updated and running. Wondering if this is the way to go with other and not mess with auto update

I have not got to the point of update, yet.
I just got a USB flash drive created and am about to put my config.xml file into the /config folder.

@mrneutron that’s the version of the installer itself

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

I just tried to reinstall from the USB drive. This is not the recovery installer I've seen before. It looks like it's this installer.
                    https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/install/netinstaller.html

It asked me questions I was not prepared to answer.

For the file system I chose ZFS, as I did with the previous recovery install.
Then, it asked for a partition scheme: GPT or MBR.
What did you choose @Greg61 ?

I had to bail out and reinstall 23.09.1 from the recovery USB installer so I had a working router!

@mrneutron I would not have expected it to give you a choice. This says MBR is the default for ARM.
                      https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/install/netinstaller.html#filesystem-and-partition-settings
The traditional image just copies from the image straight to disk on ARM so has no choices.

You should be able to just select all the defaults for the 1100. The installer detects that and sets defaults appropriately.
