    Can not download CE version

      I am trying to download the latest CE version for a new install. The file that I am supposed to have within the archive according to the directions is pfSense-CE-memstick-2.7.2-RELEASE-amd64.img.gz however when I download the memstick usb installer which is the option within the download drop down that matches my install type I get the following in the zip file pfSense-plus-installer-24.02-BETA2-amd64-20240312-0600.img. This doesnt look right to me, am I missing something? Is this the right file for the CE version of PFsense? Thanks.

          The version there is the version of the installer not pfSense.

          Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
          When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

            Yup 24.02-Beta2 is the current version of the Net Installer. A new version is coming soon. And likely a new naming/numbering scheme with it. 😉
