Unable to upgrade firmware on SG1100
-
My SG1100 has been sitting idle for some time. I connected it to the internet to enable it to upgrade. But after looking for updates it said it can't upgrade.
So then I thought to upgrade directly via an image. I downloaded it, burned it, ran into boot and used run usbrecovery.
The upgrade process starts working but then fails with:
ERROR: cannot open /boot/lua/loader.lua: invalid argument.
My uboot version is:
U-Boot 2017.03-armada-17.10.2-g6a6581a-dirty (Nov 22 2018 - 10:40:49 -0200)The image I'm trying to program is:
pfSense-plus-installer-24.02-BETA2-aarch64-20240312-0600.img -
You have the older uboot version. That would normally have been updated by a pfSense upgrade by now.
Open a support ticket and request the compat recovery image.

compat recovery image.
Will do. Thank you
I'm surprised because one of the forum posts said Nov 22 was good (but Nov 1 wasn't)
