      Hi guys,
I am not english mothertongue so forgive some mistake!

      This Is my case:
I have a thin client Futro S920 with a 8gb RAM that i use with pfsense and It Is rocksolid and Is working non stop 24/7 in the last 3.years with out any issue.
But i wanted something more performant so i bought a chinese mini PC that could run not only pfsense but even all my other server (home assistant, pihole etc etc) in case the main server goes down.
So i installed proxmox on the mini PC, hooked up two USB LAN card (the mini PC has only one LAN). I use the integrate LAN card on the mini PC to control proxmox, the other two card are in virtual bridge mode (virtio) and one is connected tò my wan modem the other one serve the lan side. It works great but i hard two episodes that i can t undertstand: All the network goes down, no address Is recheable, nothing Is even pingable from any client NOTHING, i have to phisically turn off and on my servers and my switch tò have restart the network working.... Any ideas?? Don t know wher tò look

@stephenw10 the ALL NETWORK GOES DOWN! I can't ping a single device on the network and no single device can't ping another! It happen only with the new server, i don't have a screen attached but i think this would be useful....

Yes I think you will need to see what the Proxmox install is doing. Whether it has crashed entirely or just one of more of it's VMs.

@cosbern you cant have a laptop or desktop plug into a switch that's on the same VLAN as your proxmox and connect to it?

When you say no host can ping any other host that makes me think it is the switch.
                To test:

                1. Have the IP addresses of 2 hosts, 1 virtual host on Proxmox and one physical host. Any host you can ping will work.
                2. When the problem occurs ping both hosts.

The results will tell you several things. #1 on the list is if neither host responds it is likely the switch, restart just the switch and see if the problem clears.
Other combinations of failing and working will require your troubleshooting skills.
                Report back with the results.

                Good Luck.

@AndyRH the switch was my First idea be cause i can't ping anything! Didn t try to reset Just the switch., But i can't undertstand why It happen a only with the new server!! Maybe some hardware incompatibilità with the network card?
I bought a new USB LAN card and i Will try with the new cause this was my First guess
