HI,  I have created port forward NAT for one server and used pure nat in nat reflection. If i select pure nat I am able to access server globally but unable to access locally from its wan ip. But when I select Nat+proxy in NAT reflection I am able to access locally as well as globally. Can any one tell me please why i can not access it locally when using pure Nat. Thank you for your valuable information and support.

A picture is worth a thousand words. The attached picture shows the different packet-flows of the two methods.

However, pure NAT will succeed if the destination host is in another network segment than the requesting one and pfSense is the default gateway in both.
