      EDIT: After ~5 minutes the dialog has disappeared.

      I'm running 24.03-RELEASE on a 2100. I updated the System Patches package, applied the recommended patches, then did a Diagnostics->Reboot. When the Dashboard UI came back, there's a message at the top:
      "Netgate pfSense Plus will automatically reboot in -1 seconds. Verifying will commit this temporary boot environment to be the next boot environment."

      What to do here?

        @terryzb I think it’s part of the auto/self recovery. Basically , It means it was finishing up in the background.

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

            Yup, if you log into the webgui as soon as it's available but before it's finished booting you might see that message temporarily.
