sg-1100 flashing LED (update available)??
-
Current version 24.03 (network install a few weeks ago)
Dashboard System/Version "The system is on the latest version"
System->Update->System Update is set to Current Stable Version (24.03)
System->Update->Update Settings Branch is set to Current Stable Version (24.03)But this morning, sg-1100 diamond LED is flashing, indicating an update is available. Coincidently, I saw an announcement for 24.08 Development snapshots, but given the above settings, should development snapshots trigger the update LED to be flashing?

@anthonys I skimmed a post on Reddit that that poster’s router was occasionally showing the dev version. It should not unless that branch is chosen.

Hmm, indeed it should not show as an update on the dashboard. 24.08-dev builds are now public though so you can opt into that branch manually.

I am not looking to install the development snapshot (i.e., by opting into the development branch).
To be clear, as per my original post, the development update is not showing as available on the dashboard. But the LED is flashing. Any suggestions (other than ignore it)?

You can run:
pfSense-led.sh update 0
That will clear the update alert. It be interesting to see if it comes back. It does look like there may be an issue.
