Hi everyone. I have used pfsense for years with different hardware. In my house I have a old Ericsson DRG circa -05 as a fibre  converter, courtesy of the provider.

I live in a rural area with frequent power outages, heavy wind == darkness.

Since I switched hardware to the APU2 something annoying has started to happen. If I have a power outage the WAN will not get a IP address, shows link up. If I reboot the DRG, or just pull and plug the WAN cable everything starts working. A reboot of the APU2 alone without power loss never gives any issues. I have no control over the Ericsson DRG, apart from power source.

Any ideas how to get rid of this annoyance? Maybe if I down/up the interface via a scripts after bootup or something.. I dont know.

      Thanks in advance.
