Site B connect to Site A through an OpenVPN tunnel.

Site A is HQ with domain controller, DNS, servers ...

I want Site B doing DNS resolution through tunnel to reach domain controller who manage all internal DNS request.

Whats the best practice on Site B to setup my DHCP server? Must I provide only local IP address of my DNS servers on site A? If tunnel stop working no name resolution on site B and no internet? ... that's no good! If I setup DHCP to give 2 local DNS and one external, is it a good idea?

I dont know what's best and need some advice.

      Thanks.

I would run a DNS Resolver at B and add domain overrides to it for local domains provided by the DNS server at A.
