Netgate 7100-1U New NIC setup issues

You can always just allow access to the webgui from the WAN side since that's just connnected to your ISP router and is also in a private subnet. Then just put a client in that segment connected to the ISP router and connect. Then you can just restore the config from the gui as normal.

@stephenw10 how would i restore from web gui does it have option to restore from usb ?Am i able to restore using my method to gain access to web gui when i put ix1 as lagg0.4090 and took off ixo as wan ? With you wan option would ix3 show up in assignments ?
-
Any method to get access to the webgui would work. You can just upload the file to restore from Diag > Backup/Restore in the webgui.
But once you restore it the config will change. You should still have access to LAN via Eth2-7.
ix3 will already be assigned as OPT3 and use the 192.168.208.200 address but you can then change any of that.

@stephenw10 so whats the difference from console factory reset to the gui restore ?wouldn't that be same ?so whats is the main component that i have to concentrate on thats stopping clients from connecting can you type me the config if i cant get this usb working ? What assignments i should make remove lagg0 ?

Console (or gui) factory reset replaces the config with the default config which doesn't take into account the NIC you added.
Restoring a config can be any config. So if you restore the config I sent you that should boot back up with access because I added in the NIC assignments allowing for the extra card.
The problem you are seeing is almost certainly outside pfSense. Simply assigning WAN as ix1 and LAN as ix3 should be sufficient.
So either the switch is doing something unexpected or the client isn't using it. The fact it pulled a lease from the ISP router suggests it's somehow connected to it directly. So either through the switch somehow or possibly wifi. -
For reference this is how the USB drive appears for me:
[24.03-RELEASE][root@7100.stevew.lan]/root: ls -ls /dev/da* 0 crw-r----- 1 root operator 0x89 Sep 29 22:59 /dev/da0 0 crw-r----- 1 root operator 0x8a Sep 29 22:59 /dev/da0s1 [24.03-RELEASE][root@7100.stevew.lan]/root: mount_msdosfs /dev/da0s1 /mnt [24.03-RELEASE][root@7100.stevew.lan]/root: ls -ls /mnt total 72 72 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 70394 Sep 29 23:01 config.xml

Sorry I typo'd one of the tags. I sent you a new config. I tested it here on a 7100 and it boots as expected.
