So I was going through the documentation and grabbed a 10gig sfp+ card from the list.

The link to the card I purchased. 10Gtek 10Gb PCI-E NIC Network Card, Dual SFP+ Port, with Original Intel X710-BM2
      https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PM4QCZR?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1

      I installed the card but

Do I need to do something to get the full 10gig speed or did I miss the part that I am limited somewhere.

I just signed up to get fiber installed and I needed one more sfp+ port to handle that.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Those are the internal ix NICs that connect to the switch, ix2 and ix3. That new card will appear as ixl0 and ixl1. You should see them in Interfaces > Assignments.
