PfSense Crash
-
Hey guys,
I've been using pfSense for a while now. However, I realised one flaw… There was no proper web filtering for the pfSense platform. I found a unofficial package called E2Guardian by Marcelloc which actually worked brilliantly after some initial hiccups. I can do HTTPS filtering, SSL MITM, and have my own block pages...Do that all on a who, what, where, why, when basis. However at one point there was a power failure. And after that my box has been crashing often.
I am not able to properly interpret the crash dumps, but I want to know if its that unofficial package I've been using and if possible any ways of fixing it. Here's the dump : https://pastebin.com/zdMs98Zy
Thanks in advance for any help :)
PS: Link to E2Guardian, in case anyone's interested : https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=128116.0

Since you're using a unofficial pfSense package, your pfSense installation is no longer vanilla install. I suggest you post your issues on the E2Guardian thread.

There are a few options available with pfSense, I'm not sure why you wouldn't consider them "proper".
