      Recently I noticed some network issue with my pfsense box.

      When I ping any external IP address or even the box itself, there's some high latency ping coming out of nowhere.

      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=0 ttl=43 time=23.160 ms
      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=1 ttl=43 time=23.480 ms
      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=2 ttl=43 time=23.964 ms
      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=3 ttl=43 time=64.143 ms
      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=4 ttl=43 time=25.008 ms
      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=5 ttl=43 time=24.358 ms
      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=6 ttl=43 time=22.680 ms
      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=7 ttl=43 time=24.081 ms
      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=8 ttl=43 time=212.708 ms
      64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=9 ttl=43 time=23.609 ms

      When I uncheck the allow ipv6 box, the issue disappears instantly.

      My IPv6 is configured in DHCP6 and I receive a proper ipv6 address from my ISP as well. Ipv6 gateway monitoring is responding correctly.

      PING6(56=40+8+8 bytes) 2aXX:2788:XXX:dff4:b3XX:6cf4 –> 2001:4860:4860::8888
      16 bytes from 2001:4860:4860::8888, icmp_seq=0 hlim=44 time=53.251 ms

      --- 2001:4860:4860::8888 ping6 statistics ---
      1 packets transmitted, 1 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
      round-trip min/avg/max/std-dev = 53.251/53.251/53.251/0.000 ms

      Anyone experiences a similar issue ? I use the lastest Pfsense isssue on an APU2 box.

      Thanks

        One ping that is a little higher than the others should not interest you. No problem.
