WTF Starlink - you could warn your clients
-
Just a quick notice if this could help anyone...
A couple a days ago, I've lost my Starlink connectivity on my pfSense device.
I use the Ethenet adapter and until then I received an IPv4 within the 192.168.100.x/24 range, as well as an /56 IPv6 prefix for my LAN.
It took me a while to understand but I finally discovered that IPv4 subnet is now 192.168.1.x/24, which overlaps my own LAN subnet.
So I had to remap all my LAN. Tedious but whatever...
Then, no way to get IPv6 working.
Back to the mine trying to find why...!
I just hardly got my answer : the delegated prefix is now /61 !!!
This is quite enough for my use (8x /64), but a simple message from the company could have saved my time... -
@m0k2001 Don't bother Elno. He's busy being co-President.
