      Hello,
      I had to delete this file to get rid of an error message, after I deleted an alias.
      Can someone tell me what is the default config in this file?
      I got rid of the error message but now I get "Waiting 2 seconds for threads to finish " every 15 min., which is the setting I have at dnsresolver/advanced settings/TTL for Host Cache Entries

      Thank you.

        @marchand-guy

        As I have these two lines in my Aliases :

        d00805d3-e61a-48d2-83dc-ded1c47c888c-image.png

        I have this in my filterdns.conf file :

        5956ed0a-fcec-4782-988f-eb81f480a4f5-image.png

        You shouldn't need to create this file.
        It's generated by the GUI if needed => if you have FQDNs as hosts in your Aliases

        Edit : and where are the logs ??

          @Gertjan Thank you for your time and the information.
          As I don't have any alias with FQDN anymore, I get "configuration file not found" in the resolver log wjen I reboot. If I create an empty file, the message becomes "Waiting 2 seconds for threads to finish" every 15 min.
          I guess it is normal then.

            @marchand-guy said in Default /var/etc/filterdns.conf:

            f I create an empty file, the message becomes "Waiting 2 seconds for threads to finish" every 15 min.

            Where do you see that message ?

              @Gertjan "in the resolver log" found at:
