      Is the darkstar package equal to tcpdump?

      Iread that PFsense can do tcpdump but the only thing i found was darkstar that look to do the same thing

          Thnak's but is there special config to do?

          I did start but where is the log file and how do i open it?

            All the configuration options are there on the web page.

            When you either hit stop, or the relevant number of packets are captured, you'll have a display showing the source, destination and other details about the packet.  If you need more then you'll need to SSH on to the host and run tcpdump from the command line.
