This thread is a spin-off from:
      https://forum.netgate.com/post/1198410

I am seeing pfS router spontaneous reboots after 24.11 upgrade (never had this issue before)

Just FYI and also looking for users with similar problems to help troubleshoot.

      TIA

Can you add more details ?

Is your device an x86, x64, or amd, or arm ?
Mention also the NIC device driver, like 'igc', or 'em', or 'ix', and 're'.

Example : if you use a x64, as I do, then we both use an exact, bit for bit identical copy of pfSense- which will exclude 'the software' as a possible issue.
This means also that only our local "settings" differ.

Also : what (pfSense) packages are you using ?

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Did you manually edit the MDS Mitigation value? Because VERW is invalid. Might be a clue to something odd happening.

It's set in Sys > Adv > Misc: MDS mode.

Ah, OK VERW is a valid setting there. But disabled is the default. Try setting that.

Right so try setting it disabled. I doubt it will make a difference but it's a non-default setting so worth trying.

My reboot issue on 24.11 has NOT been resolved!

So 24.11 is unusable to me :(

Netgat TAC support guys suggested it's an h/w issue and offered to wipe out my drive and try to install it clean. I tried uninstalling a bunch of packaging and it did not help.

I am hesitant to wipe out my drive as I will lose my boot env snapshots.

                        Just posting here for posterity.
