      @JKnott what theme are you using - seems to be working here

      Example I had clicked into this thread and it changed to show it was read

          I'm using the default skin. Also, it's only the forum list that doesn't work. Once I'm in a forum it works with the messages.

            @JKnott ok maybe I'm not looking where you guys are going..

            My book mark for accessing the forums it direct to the most recent section.

              @johnpoz

              I normally leave a browser open all the time in the software forum as shown here:

              b91d59b0-2a8e-48f6-9dd1-360b4f486913-image.png

              As you can see, no highlighting.

              But when I go into a forum, in this case General pfSense Questions:

              Here the highlighting is visible.

                @JKnott yeah I am always on the recent page vs level up.. Maybe something changed with the resent update of the forum software.. Just the other day there was an update.

                  Mmm, at one time, for example, I could look at https://forum.netgate.com/category/66/pfsense-software and see which subs had unread posts in by which were shown in bold text. However that hasn't worked for quite a while. For me at least.

                    It's now working properly. As I mentioned, when it happens it eventually clears.

                      Mmm, I recall trying a bunch of different themes when I first noticed it and none made any difference. 😞
