ahcich1 timeout

Installing 2.7.2 on a Qotom Q555G6. During boot up I recieve a error ;

"ahcich1:Timeout on slot x port y"

It will contine, retrying the command 3 more times and continues to boot. How can I stop this from timeing out or just bypass?

Is there anything actually connected to that SATA channel?

If not you can probably disable it in the BIOS.
