I had to reboot my pfsense this morning due to a configuration issue but now i am getting the following message

      af13f938-f04f-410f-832f-f5877ca43615-image.png

From my understanding, this should be a built-in port alias. Any reason why its not being picked up?

What version is that? Is MIM enabled?

If so does the port show as populated in Sys > Adv > MIM? Like:

@stephenw10 Pfnet Controller Daemon service was not running after reload. Interesting. Shouldnt the service start automatically? I know its Beta so maybe its not configured to do so yet?

Yes, it should start. Anything logged at boot showing it fail?

But that would explain why the alias wasn't populated.

Also I forgot that info in the webgui is new 25.03 so you won't see it in 24.11. It's useful in this sort of situation though!

Not sure what to look for in the log at start up but I'm posting the output of 'dmesg"
