Wireguard not resolving DNS.

Hello, new to the PFsense world and just had a question
When setting up a protonvpn wireguard config and following the directions to a T on their website. I receive a "DNS probe" error when accessing sites i have ensured the DNS resolver is enabled and all settings are correct i ran through setting this up 6 different ways different versions of pfsense (24.11 and 25.03) reinstalled wireguard but nothing seems to be working. I've searched lots of forums on reddit and netgate but not able to get this resolved. Traffic from the wireguard shows things are coming into the network but nothing going out.
Not able to ping IPs such as 8.8.8.8 or FQDN. Please let me know if you have anymore questions or if you need more info. Wireguard shows its up

That is an ip-address, no DNS involved here. So your problems are bigger than your title is telling. Maybe search for a better tutorial.
