monitoring hardware on 8300 units

Hello all,
Has anyone been able to monitor the hardware on the 8300 appliances?
I've been unable to set up SMTP alerts using the Insyde IPMI controller. I've also explored SNMP using the IPMI controller, but can not locate an MIB that provides access to the BMC sensors.
I'd like to know if a power supply failed, fan stops spinning, etc.

For anyone who comes across this thread, here's what I've tried.

Worked with SNMP to no avail. If I had an MIB, I'd reapproach this.

Attempted to set up SMTP. The relay host only accepts IPs and not FQDNs. We configured an internal server, but were unable to relay messages off of it successfully. Next steps here would be to find a log to review or a packet capture. For now, I've set this aside.

Installed IPMItool on a Debian host and ran this command:
ipmitool -I lanplus -H x.x.x.x -U user -P password sensor list
(Substitute your IPMI IP for x.x.x.x and your IPMI user/password.)
Success... a list of all BMC-supported sensors:
After successfully implementing item 3, we pointed Zabix at the IPMI IP and can now view all the sensors. I'm still testing triggers in Zabix, but it seems to have found a path forward.
I'd love to hear what others are doing.

Thank You for sharing this experience, James!This is another BIG REASON for fraction of the Netgate’s price (sorry) buying IBM/Dell/Fujitsu bare metal 2xCPU STOCK server, upgrade it for maximum performance, installing Mellanox NICs and have no problem with pesky problems with SuperMicro’s impotence to make normally worked BMC (search on this forum about problems with BMC-interaction software ("Supervyse" looks like Netgate’s customization of Supermicro's “SuperWEB” interface that are on top of Insyde Software Corporation firmware with ASPEED AST2620-A3 chipset) and .MIB profile file.
But, if Netgate (which declared himself as “world's leading firewall, router, and VPN solution for network edge and cloud secure networking. With millions of installations worldwide” HAVE NO RESOURCES (or NOT SEE ANY REASONS) TO MAKE PROPER .MIB FILE FOR MONITORING SO CRITICAL NETWORK APPLIENCE, You may try to editing by yourself the .MIB file from Supermicro which are supplied with this model of motherboard
No any guarantee, but with 90% probabilities - this “hint” may be working, because very rarely middle/small size brands spending resources for changing anything around BMC firmware. More frequently- just changing the label picture on web interface pages and in CLI…:)
If I have a time, I try this and report about results…
P.S.
For now I am completely sure that for enterprises Zabbix are outdated 5-7 years ago (but still used in many enterprises around the world), and better building the monitoring solutions based on Prometheus (with Vector.dev/Clickhouse for DB) + Grafana.
Of course, vanilla Prometheus + Grafana (better choice) or LibreNMS would be 100% enough for monitoring for small companies or for home users.
