Replacement fan for Netgate 8200

Is there a place to order a replacement fan for the Netgate 8200? Or a good aftermarket replacement? Since the day it arrived, mine makes "surging" sounds at higher rpms that are super annoying. I have isolated the sound to the fan on the bottom of the 8200.

If it's out of warranty can add a Noctua 15mm x 120mm fan or something similar. Can cut out the bottom panel a little to fit it with double sided tape. Mine is not audible at all and runs cooler. I could not stand the stock fan either.

@aivxtla Did you use the builtin fan connector? Also was there any labelling on the stock fan? My 8200 is still under warranty but I really don't want to have to send it in for a fan swap.

@aholmes5 Yes the built in connector works. Just need to add rubber stoppers or the like to give enough space for airflow. Those are 1” ones in the image.

What sort of ambient is that running in?
The fan of the 8200 I have is barely audible unless it's really working.

@stephenw10 Ambient temp is 75. The 8200 is in a well ventilated cabinet with active vent fans. The fan is quiet most of the time, it just periodically makes these high pitched harmonic type sounds like it goes out of balance or one of the windings stops working for a few seconds. Then it goes back to quiet. It can do this a 3-4 times per minute but not all the time. I suspect that the fan itself is intermittently having an issue. I shutoff the cabinet ventilation and let the ambients climb and the fan goes to high speed which sounds like a normal fan at high speed and the periodic weird noise goes away. This is definitely not a high speed fan noise - it’s a weird whining noise. I can try to make an audio recording if that would be helpful.

Hmm, I haven't heard anything like that. Yeah anything the one I have here makes couldn't be heard above cabinet vent fans.
