My Uverse NVG599 modem firmware was updated recently and now I'm having problems with my Uverse connection.

The issue I'm having is that after rebooting the modem, it works correctly for perhaps 5 minutes.  Then, I get tremendous delay when pinging external hosts - over 2000ms and a dramatic loss of speed (1Mbit/s up and down).  Connection is 25Mbit/s down and 2 Mbit /s up.  Also, the modem's https setup page fails to respond during this period.

Rebooting the modem fixes it for a few minutes and then it goes back to the huge delay and dramatic loss in speed.

This has rendered my connection useless.

I don't see anything unusual in my logs or any unusual CPU activity, so I'm really at a loss to what's going on.  Apart from firmware upgrade on the modem, nothing on pfSense config side has changed.

      I'm using pfSense 2.3.4-RELEASE.

      Any ideas where to start?

For anyone that cares, disabling the 6RD tunnel fixed the issue.  So, this is somehow related to IPV6 setup.
