      Has anyone been able to solve this issue?

      I just created today a Wireguard tunnel and monitor the GW.
      Monitoring works fine so far until a reboot.

      After the reboot the monitoring status is stuck in Pending / Unknown. After dpinger is restarted, everything is green and works as designed.

      I tried different "Monitoring IPs". For example, 8.8.8.8, the IP of the Wireguard endpoint and other public DNS IPs.

      pfSense: 2.7.2-RELEASE (amd64)

        Moved this to a new topic. A lot has changed since 2014!

        Do you see the dpinger process for it in the output of: ps -auxwwd | grep dpinger

        Are there any errors shown at boot when it tries to start?

        Steve

          @LaUs3r

          I am experiencing the same even on the latest pfSense Plus beta version (25.03)
