On Fujitsu Futro S920 after upgrade to 2.8.0 system only starts when is monitor plugged in. Without monitor computer does not complete startup. Very strange behavior.
On site I don't have monitor. I needed a lot of time to realize what is wrong.

Can you see where it stops booting, is anything logged?

I assume it booted fine in 2.7.2 without a monitor attached?

Are there any BIOS values that might change that? There is often a setting for booting without a keyboard for example.

          I was surprised to.
2.7.2 was booting without attached monitor just fine.
First time in my life computer didn't want start because of detached monitor.
I moved psfense PC from working site to my home 3 times.
At home PC boot ok, at site no.
May be is power supply? No.
At the end I installed 2.7.2 with configuration saved from 2.8.0.
Was some warning but is working now.
I do not have a log to share.

I put this on forum to see if any other person have similar problem.

Can you enable a serial console on that to check?

              Sorry.

SSD is overwritten by pfsense 2.7.2.
On site I had Ubiquity Edge router who wasn't powerful enough to work for all clients.
Was an emergency to fix pfsense router.
I have 4 WAN ports and 1 LAN port on pfsense router.
              On WAN ports I have 4 Vdsl2 routers with cca 80/40 Mbit/s.
All WAN ports are load balancing.
I have second pfsense PC for backup who didn't want to start to.

When things can go wrong way they will go in wrong way.

But does that hardware have a serial port you could use for a console? If so then you can enable it in 2.7.2 and test there first then try upgrading again.

                  Yes,

I have serial port. Next time I will check report during boot without monitor attached.
I am interested to what's going on.
