@itsmejomijohn are there any errors after the boot menu, early in the booting process? And what is the device it is running on and the filesystem (UFS or ZFS)?
-
@patient0 its running on Proxmox, the disk format is RAW, and the file system is ZFS.
Here I am attaching the screenshots of the booting screen.
-
@patient0 the same error is showing for Restore last backup option and also when i try to assign ip address to interfaces

@itsmejomijohn said in After a power failure, pfsense not working:

ZFS 'native' would have given a 99.99% safety net for nasty side effect that happen when the power 'goes away without notice'.
The entire disk image is handled by proxmox, and that can fail also ...The bad news : one , or several config.xml files - the original and maybe some recent backups - are damaged.
The good new : see here : /cf/conf/backup: you've 30 backups, and the ones you've made yourself. And don't the "Auto Configuration Backup" ^^
What is the pfSense version ?
No UPS, ok, when you've found a good config.xml, consider re install pfSense clean on a clean 'prox' disk image.
Or have a talk with the power utility company ^^ -
I assume you don't have any recent snapshots in Proxmox?
