      Hi all

I've broken out all 4 LAN ports to be discreet ports on our Netgate SG-2100 using VLANs based on this guide https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/netgate-2100/configuring-the-switch-ports.html

It works fine for any ports that are set as LANs but when I set port 1 to be a WAN port (called WAN2) it doesn't work. I've set the IPv4 configuration to be DHCP and ticked both boxes under reserved networks. Everything else is at defaults or left blank.

NAT outbound is set to Automatic

Under System > Routing > Gateways I've set up a dynamic gateway for WAN2 and matched the settings that we have for the default WAN port.

Any ideas what I'm missing? Or are there any guides on how to set up a secondary WAN port on these routers?

      Thanks, Alan.

        Ignore this

For anyone maybe suffering with similar issues, I went through the guide again and realised I'd forgotten to update the Port VID under Interfaces > Switch > Ports as well as updating the VLAN Tag under Interfaces > Switch > VLANs

Once that was done it got an IP and I could use it as a WAN port.
