        @cougarmaster can at least provide a bit more information? On what does the VM run, what are the specs of the host, how does pfSense connect to WAN? How many interfaces, VLANs? What services do you run on pfSense?

        And run top -HaSP instead of htop, that'll gives more details infos.

          I think I might have found the problem and now the CPU is running normal. I pass thru a nic and now is ok but before was using a virtual nic. will monitor.

              I think I figured it out my mistake to over commit CPU in a VM . Now seens to not get stuck at 100%
