    Dynamic dns don't work with carp ip

      Hello everyone!

      I tried to use dynamic dns with a carp vip, but isn't work to me.
      Pfsense version: 2.8.0
      Public ip
      Service: no-ip

      WAN address:

        @Rnt pfSense will use its WAN IP to connect out not the shared IP.

        Can you run the No-IP client on a LAN device?

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

          I believe the IP selection is intended for use in dynamic DNS or am I wrong?

            Hello! Same thing here using Dyndns. 2.8 and 2.7.2 side by side, and it doesn't work in 2.8, it's getting the interface address, it doesn't seem to obey the Virtual IP instruction. The virtual IP field selects which (virtual) IP should be used when this group applies to a local Dynamic DNS, IPsec or OpenVPN endpoint.
