      Hello,

      I just resently setup a NUT Server using Raspberry Pi and now I would like to setup pfSense in Client Mode.
      I downloaded the NUT package but I'm unable to see in the UPS Settings tab a section to set it in Client Mode.

      I added in the advanced section under uspmon.conf MONITOR APC@192.168.30.1 admin somepassword slave. I'm not sure if this is correct.

      Is it possible to run NUT in client mode on pfSense?

      Any help would be much appreciated.

        @kiekar What you are looking for is called Remote NUT Server.

        Remove everything from the Advanced section, select Remote NUT Server as the UPS Type, and then set the appropriate values in Driver Settings.

          I simply connect my UPS directly to pfSense and all TrueNAS clients as remote networked UPS

            I took your question be asking how to use the Pi as the NUT server.

            Or are you asking how to use pfSense as the NUT server?

              @dennypage

              Wasn't a question.

              Just suggesting OP can use pfSense as the NUT server, thus eliminate the need for the RPi
