Squid fails to re-install on 2.8

I followed the instructions of uninstalling all pacakges and rebooting before running the update from 2.7.2->2.8..

reinstalling my other packages went without a hitch but when i try to reinstall squid it fails.

i know folks will chime in saying it doesn't serve a purpose but i've found utility in it.

I dunno where to go to get the logs so you can see where it runs into issues.

Any advice?

@jc1976 can you check if you hit the same issue as: Squid: "Undefined symbol "_ZTVNSt3__117bad_function_callE" after upgrade to 2.8?
