2.4.0 to 2.4.1 - Squid Proxy will not start

Hi all,

I upgraded from 2.4.0 to 2.4.1 and squid proxy stopped working. it will not start. I have tried find information in /var/log/syslog  which says nothing of interest and /var/log/squid and  /var/log/squid has no log files and squidGuard  logs ends with:

2017-10-26 22:07:53 [30700] init domainlist /var/db/squidGuard/Banned/domains
2017-10-26 22:07:53 [30700] create new dbfile /var/db/squidGuard/Banned/domains.db
clog: ERROR: could not write output (Bad address)

Squidguard is stopped in the front-end but shows started when manually started from the front-end. I have tried to reinstall squid but it appears to fail. Not sure what else to try. Anyone else having issues with squid on 2.4.1 upgrade?

After reinstalling the squid package twice the issue seems to have been resolved.
