      Hello everyone, my pFsense no longer loads the Packages. If I search through the list of available it doesn't give me anything, as if there were no installable packages I've already restarted everything that was restartable, FW, Tim router, services... nothing to do, I can't add anything because I don't see anything. Or problems?

      Version 2.7.0-RELEASE (amd64)
built on Wed Jun 28 03:53:34 UTC 2023
FreeBSD 14.0-CURRENT
      The system is on the latest version.

CPU Type AMD GX-412TC SOC

        @miran See https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/releases/2-7-1.html#troubleshooting

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

          Thank you, problem solved.
          Now I also see version 2.7.2 available, whereas before it said the system was up to date at 2.7.0.
          But I have a question: I have two firewalls connected via IPSec — if I update pfSense1 to version 2.7.2, will the IPSec tunnel stop working unless I also update the other one?
          If the IPSec tunnel doesn't work, I will have trouble reaching the other firewall, as it is located 150 km away from FW1.
          Thank you.

            @miran You should be able to change to the 2.8 branch also.

            2.7.1/2 are minor updates.

            If it doesn’t warn in the release notes or upgrade guide then it’s not a concern. Generally I’d not expect a problem with IPSec. You could upgrade the remote end first. Still, it would be ideal to have a backup/recovery plan.

            Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.

              @SteveITS

              Thank you for the clarification. You're right — better to be safe. I’ll update FW2 when I'm on site, and then FW1, which is my usual one.
