So your suggestion here is to allow adding traffic graphs for the tailscale interface without assigning it?
Currently you should not assign the tailscale inrterface. Doing so may prevent pfSense booting.

Is there any solution to add it without causing an issue with pfSense initialization?

Not currently, it would require some development.
