      I am using pfsense 2.8.0
      I want to limit bandwidth for certain users
      How do I do this?

        @firefox pfSense has limiters and you can assign them to a firewall rule. For instance on LAN create a rule that limits from 10.0.0.5 to any.

        Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, and device or disk speed.

          Yup, that. Combine it with static DHCP leases to get a fixed list of IPs to limit.
