    Netgate 4100 does not fit standard 2280 form factor M2 NVMe

      Has anyone else had this problem?

      I ran out of space so decided to add a 500GB Kingston SSD but after following all steps I got to the point where the SSD does not fit - yet it meets all the specifications as far as I can tell.

      I purchased this high quality Kingston NV3 SSD which met the 2280 form factor but it will not insert as per the images below.

      If the slot is aligned, the RHS of the PCB will not insert – does this Netgate have the correct socket soldered to the PCB?

        You need am M+B Key NVMe SSD not only a M Key like you try.
        Wrong SSD.

        Netgate 6100 & Netgate 2100
