Filter log quit showing in gui, until I make a hcange in settings, then they start back.

Running on a new system, Netgate 6100, running 25.07.1 software.
In gui my firewall logging stops working and to get it started again, I have to make a change in settings, and it starts back. I have it set for 10 day rotation and log file size 1024000. The gui log entries is set for 1000 (newest entries on top). I have 100g free on disk. I do have it set to send to remote log server.
Thansk for any help. Advise if I need to post anything to help solve this issue. -

Do you see the syslogd service stop in Status > Services?
If so check for a connection refused message in the main system log against the remote server.
