    NTOP + 1.2.1-RC2 built on Wed Dec 10 18:59:47 breaks RRD

      It appears that 1.2.1-RC2 built on Wed Dec 10 18:59:47 EST 2008 breaks the RRD, as neither the in-house RRD nor ntop RRD work and ntop spews RRD related stuff into the syslog:

        The problem is ntop - an update with ntop installed knocks out RRD and requires an update without ntop to get it going again. Re-installing ntop causes the same symptoms, with syslog entries as posted above.
