      Hi,
i wonder if it is possible to reboot the pfsense via ssh with the menu.
I log in, give /etc/rc.initial to get the menu, type (5) and .. on an embedded platform:

      Enter an option: 5

pfSense will reboot. This may take a few minutes, depending on your hardware.

Do you want to proceed [y|n]? y

      pfSense is rebooting now.
      Stopping package Backup…done.
      Stopping package snort...done.
Stopping package OpenVPN Client Export Utility...done.
      Stopping package siproxd...done.
      *** Welcome to pfSense 2.2.6-RELEASE-nanobsd (amd64) on officeguard ***
      But it doesn´t reboot

On another platform: same way, but it says : permitted, wrong rights.

I log in as the Admin.

      What am I´m doing wrong?
      Fred

        Use root, not admin.

Or if you are using some other user that isn't root or admin, install the sudo package and grant that user rights to run commands as root (at least /etc/rc.reboot)
