    Wifi laptop no network connection with pfsense

      i installed pfsense in my vmware workstation for testing purposes. I noticed when working with wifi(am using a laptop) pfsense cannot connect  when i set my networkadapter in vmware as bridged. When changing this into nat, pfsense can connect to the internet.

      anyone who knows an explanation for this?

        It might be better for you to seek such explanation from VMware. I noticed the same thing after installing Ubuntu on VirtualBox recently; however, I just went with what worked.

        pfSense+ 23.09 Lenovo Thinkcentre M93P SFF Quadcore i7 dual Raid-ZFS 128GB-SSD 32GB-RAM PCI-Intel i350-t4 NIC, -Intel QAT 8950.
        pfSense+ 23.09 VM-Proxmox, Dell Precision Xeon-W2155 Nvme 500GB-ZFS 128GB-RAM PCIe-Intel i350-t4, Intel QAT-8950, P-cloud.
